How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Ten Random Things

Apparently I was tagged, and have to write 10 things about myself.  Which is kinda vague, but all right.  Ten random things.

1. I'm finally out on my own and living like a grownup, and it sucks.  Seriously.

2. It only took about a week in the corporate world for me to want to go back and hide in academia forever.

3. If I'm going to wear a costume, I'm going to make it myself, and not being able to sew a lick isn't going to stop me.

4. Not relying on help from anyone when I'm moving or putting together heavy furniture is a source of pride for me.

5. My senior level creative writing class gave me a ton of tools for critical reading, and as a result made it much more difficult for me to simply enjoy stories.

6. I've dreamt up a lot of fanfic stories over the years, but I never wrote them down because I recognized the stories I wanted to write were the kind of stories I'd never read if someone else did them.

7. I went back and read some stuff I wrote 5-6 years ago, and while it wasn't perfect, the dialogue was pretty much as good as what I do now.  Which scares me, because shouldn't I have improved?

8. Some people get songs stuck in their head.  I get Ellen Degeneres imitating an annoying cell phone ring in one of her stand-up routines stuck in my head.

9. I wish I could draw.  I have so many ideas that can only really be communicated visually.

10. I love my cats, but if they don't stop tearing up every single thing I own, we're going to have to rethink this arrangement.

And I don't know ten people, so I'm not tagging anyone.

I can't do much either, but I think with enough practice those skills will come to you. I'll never be an artist - that's something I think certain people are born with - but all I'd really like is the technical proficiency to do little comics strips or something.
